Readings!!

     So, I got to the point where I can get a temperature from the DB18 sensor.  Or I can get temperature and humidity from the DHT11 sensor.  However, I can't get readings from both.  So, my next task will be trying to get/write/steal code to do this. 

     Also this morning, I gave my presentation on the Chicken Pi and the RasPi together.  Pretty sure I aced it.  I think I'd have had to walk in a stare at the screen for 20 minutes to fail.

    So, I am finished with classes for the quarter.  which means, I'll not gonna be doing anything for a week or so.  though, I probably will build a base to mount the Pi, KB, Breadboard, and all the other things for the Chicken Pi.  But, for right now, I am done.  And the best part is, I can go back to playing Rift in my spare time instead of stressing over code!!

Up and Running

     After a long break from school and entirely too much food, I have returned.  Its tuesday and I've finished with all my Testout labsims for Cisco and Linux.  I've also taken the final for Cisco.  though, the final was pretty mindless.  We jsut had to explain the OSI model.  But its done now and the only thing left of the quarter is....Chicken Pi!!!  So, onto the Pi

I had entered all the code in and I could NOT figure out what I was doing.  Every time I tried to enter the "import" command I ould get a "command not found" error.  Over and over again I was getting this error.  Eventually, I went top Reddit.com/r/learnpython and they helped me out.

     All of this code was supposed to be going into an editor.  Specifically, I needed to open up Nano to start entering all the code that started with "Import".

     After paying a 25 cent fine fro droppng an F-bomb in class, I went home to pout about not getting this stuff up and running.  Done for the day.

     (This last was written on the 4th.  the rest was from the 3d.  which is the day i walked out of class.)
